Maintenance & Care

Wash your board with warm, soapy water after use and ensure it's completely dry. Never soak your board. Reapply mineral oil and/or beeswax when your board starts to look like it's drying or loses its vibrancy. Keeping your board properly oiled will repel water, stains and will ensure you have it for years to come.

Beautiful piece of art?

When I ordered my cutting board from Ottawa Lumber Bin. I wasn’t sure what to expect. What arrived absolutely blew my expectations away! My board was so beautiful, I almost felt bad using it for its intended purpose as a cutting board. Having said that, I have been using it for the past month or so and it has held up remarkably well. I have used it for vegetable and meat preparation, as well as a charcuterie board for guests, and it looks as good as the day it arrived. The Ottawa Lumber Bin is a truly hidden gem of a local company!
